A tool is a thing you hold. A food is a thing you eat. You cut with a knife. You mix with a spoon. You cook in a pot. Khao soi needs noodles, chicken and coconut milk.

工具是你拿的东西，食材是你吃的东西。用刀切，用勺子搅，用锅煮。 Khao soi 需要面条、鸡肉和椰奶。

02 · Cook the khao soi 做汤ทำข้าวซอย

Chef Kai says one step. Click the right tool or the right food. There are fourteen steps. Kai 厨师说一个步骤。点对的工具或食材。一共十四步。 เชฟไก่บอกขั้นตอน กดเครื่องมือหรืออาหารให้ถูก มีทั้งหมด 14 ขั้น

First you cut. Then you cook. Then you put it in a bowl. The order is important. Soup is hot, so the pot goes on the fire first. The lime is always last.

先切，再煮，最后装碗。顺序很重要。汤是热的，所以先把锅放上火。青柠总是最后放。
หั่นก่อน แล้วต้ม แล้วใส่ชาม ลำดับสำคัญมาก ซุปต้องร้อน จึงตั้งหม้อบนไฟก่อน มะนาวใส่ทีหลังสุดเสมอ

03 · What you learned 你学到了什么คุณเรียนอะไรบ้าง

You learned sixteen words. You also learned three small grammar things. 你学了十六个词，还学了三个小语法点。 คุณเรียน 16 คำ และเรียนไวยากรณ์เล็ก ๆ อีก 3 เรื่อง

Take the knife.
This is an order. We start with the verb. We do not say the word you.
这是命令句。动词放最前面，不说 you。

We say a knife for any knife. We say the knife for this one knife here.
任何一把刀说 a knife，这里的这把刀说 the knife。

These words show the order. First you cut. Then you cook. Last you eat.
