打开 Scratch 的时候，你会看到一只橙色的 小猫。这只猫的英语名字叫 Cat，也叫 Scratch Cat。

小猫站在一个白色的方块里，那个方块叫 stage（舞台）。你写的代码会让小猫在舞台上 move、talk、跳舞。

小猫这种会动的东西叫 sprite（角色）。你可以加更多角色 — 比如恐龙、宇宙飞船、苹果……什么都可以！

When you open Scratch, you'll see an orange Cat. Its name is Scratch Cat.

The cat stands on a white box called the stage. Your blocks tell the cat to move, talk, and dance on the stage.

The cat is called a sprite. You can add more sprites — dinosaurs, spaceships, apples — anything!

Open Scratch — 打开 Scratch

去 scratch.mit.edu，点 Create（创建）。

Go to scratch.mit.edu and click Create.

Drag the "When clicked" block — 拖一块"当绿旗被点击"

从 黄色 的 Events 类别里拖出这块积木：

▶ when 🚩 clicked

From the yellow Events category, drag out this block. 意思：当我点绿旗的时候，开始运行。

Add a "say Hello" block — 加一块"说 你好"

从 紫色 的 Looks 类别里，拖出"say"积木，接在下面：

▶ when 🚩 clicked
say for seconds

From the purple Looks category, drag out the "say" block. 你也可以把 Hello! 改成 你好!。

Add a "move 10 steps" block — 加一块"移动 10 步"

从 蓝色 的 Motion 类别里：

💡 Try this — 试试这个

Add an Apple sprite — 加一个苹果角色

右下角点 Choose a Sprite（选择角色），找 Apple 🍎。

Apple falls forever — 苹果一直掉下来

给苹果加这些积木：

   go to x: y: 180
   glide 2 secs to x: same y: -150
end

意思：苹果一直从上面（y:180）掉到下面（y:-150）。

Cat follows the mouse — 小猫跟着鼠标

点小猫，给小猫加这些积木：

   set x to mouse x
end

现在小猫会跟着你的 mouse 左右走。

Catch the apple! — 接住苹果！

先在 橙色 的 Variables 里点 Make a Variable，做一个叫 score 的变量。

First, in the orange Variables category, click Make a Variable and name it score.

⚠️ 不要把它加到刚才"掉下来"的那堆积木里！给苹果再做一堆新的积木 — 再拖一块"当绿旗被点击 🚩"，像这样：

Don't add this to the falling stack! Give the apple a second, separate stack — drag out another "when 🚩 clicked":

意思：电脑一直检查 — 如果苹果touching小猫，就说 "Yum!"（好吃！），score 加 1。

🤔 为什么要做两堆积木？ — Why two separate stacks?

因为 glide（滑行）积木会让第一堆积木"忙着让苹果往下掉"，那 2 秒里它不会去看有没有碰到小猫。所以要分开做两堆：一堆让苹果掉，另一堆一直一直检查有没有接住 — 两堆同时运行！

The glide block keeps the first stack busy for 2 whole seconds, so it can't check for the cat during the fall. A second stack runs at the same time and checks every moment. Scratch runs many stacks together! 🎉

🍎 小提示：在 if 里面再加一块 go to y: 180，接到的苹果就会马上回到上面再掉一次！ — add go to y: 180 inside the if so a caught apple jumps back to the top.
