The short answer to the title: you can build it in a day for very little, but day one earns $0, and our estimate after a year is $50–150 a month. Every number here is printed from result files by one script.

evidence: for each candidate, what comparable listings exist, how many subscribers they show,
and what they charge. Include the marketplace fee, how and when providers are paid, and
hosting options with their costs. I already have: <what you have measured, built, or know>.
Rank the candidates, say what each would earn realistically (not what videos claim), and
recommend one. Write it up as a single HTML page with the numbers and their sources.

Build the <chosen> API as a small Python service with a /health endpoint and a test client.
Use only sources and models whose licences allow commercial use, and name the licence of each
in the README. Run it locally and show me the test client's output before deploying.

Deploy it to Modal (CPU unless it really needs a GPU; scale to zero). Then measure, with the

Correction, 2 October 2026. (1) The video and this page give the speech API's PRO ($9.99) and ULTRA ($29.99) plans. Both are in the API's code and in the listing notes, but the hub's page showed only the free plan when it was read on 1 and 2 October: the paid plans had not been created on the hub, so nobody could pay for this API yet. (2) The video says the second API was still private. Its listing could be opened without signing in from the evening of 1 October, when we read the hub's numbers. The report in part 4 printed the evidence for both from the start, and we read past it. It now compares the plans it prices with the plans the hub shows.
